There was nothing too special about my frugal shenanigans in September, other than just trying to be better with every purchase that I make. I planted a small garden this year: 2 tomato plants, 1 cucumber, 1 pepper plant that sadly didn’t make it, and 1 butternut squash. Plasma donation: $47. My Frugal Shenanigans!

It makes a great gift for new (or even experienced) moms. They're great for my daughter's more sensitive skin, and it feels good to be using naturally-derived products too. I recently had the chance to check out a Bath Essentials Kit from Earth Baby. The products are gentle and effective, as well as being non-toxic.

To save time during the week, I make the salad and chop the fruit on Sunday nights. I’ve been making bacon a lot lately in my cast iron skillet. Plasma Donations: $420. I earned $420 from 5 donations and a $50 bonus in the month of July. My time spent averaged about 1 hour and 40 minutes per donation.

Where I found money in February

Honestly, it was months in the making, but at one time, I didn’t think I would ever see the money. I donated plasma 5 times in February which is short of my goal of 8 times. I usually donate on Friday and Sunday mornings and I missed a few days due to schedule conflicts. My total of found money in February: $3433.68.
