If you have ever attended the annual shareholder meeting of a publicly held company , you know they can be pretty boring. I once attended my employer’s annual meeting (I was also a shareholder). It was held in one of the company meeting rooms. The Berkshire-Hataway annual meeting however, is a different story. Anyone who is an owner of record in March will get a copy of the annual meeting proxy and a card that can be sent in to get passes to the meeting.

How To Meet New Friends In A New City

Prairie Eco-Thrifter

Meeting friends at a course ensures that you have at least one thing in common – the desire to learn about that particular subject. I say a side hustle instead of meeting people at work, because I think that befriending co-workers can be dangerous, and has the potential to turn unprofessional. Volunteering is a great way to meet new friends in a new city because, once again, you have a common interest; the charity or organization for which you are volunteering your time.
